| In 2011 we began the new and exciting adventure of making cheese from our cows milk. We own and raise a herd of Holstein Cattle. The farming industry is a tough business and in seeking new ways to try and make it profitable we began selling CHEESE!! We currently offer the following six flavors; Cheddar, Colby, Pepper Jack, Herbal Jack, Smoked Cheddar and Garlic Cheddar. You can currently find our cheese in the following stores; Brewers Market in Silver Run, Maryland Millers Market in Manchester, Maryland Stoney Point Farm Market in Littlestown, Pennsylvania We are currently talking with a few other stores and hope to be in a store near you soon! We also sell our cheese at the farmers markets that we attend. Know your farmer, Know your food. Our cattle are cared for with the highest standards, as you can see from the photo above our daughter likes to spoil them rotten. Our children are actively involved in 4-H and the Maryland Holstein Association. The photo above was taken at a National Jr. Holstein show in Harrisburg, PA. The heifer in the photo is named Dynamic. She is for sure the most spoiled cow we own. She is due to have her first calf in March 2012. Check back later for updates!!! |
